The City is applying for a Fostering Advancement in Shipping and Transportation for the Long-term
Achievement of National Efficiencies (FASTLANE) grant for a combination of Phase 1 and Phase 2. If
successful, the FASTLANE grant could provide approximately $8,287,000 for the project, and the
resultant City portion for Phase 1 and Phase 2 would be approximately $1,307,000.
Combining any portion of Phase 2 with Phase 1 would result in the new project being federal in nature,
and would require NEPA Environmental Documentation to be done for any Phase 2 portion included with
Phase 1.
