UNIT REAS, education is the path to equity and opportunity for families and for
economic vitality; and
UNIT REAS, every child deserves a good education that prepares them for choices in
college, careers, and a healthy and productive future; and
UNIT REAS, high quality, experienti (learning is proven to help students achieve their
full potential to develop, thrive, support, and engage with our local communities; and
UNIT REAS, schools can't do their workalone and need parents, neighborhoods,
businesses, organizations, and civic leaders engaged as partners; and
UNIT REAS, public school districts served by foundations, such as the Yakima Schools
(Foundation, make investments in improving curriculum and programs for students, educators,
and classrooms; and
UNIT 2EAS, the Yakima Schools (Foundation has served as a dedicated source of
support for Yakima (Public Schools for twenty five years focused on providing e,�cellent tools
and resources for quality teaching and successful learning; and
UNIT 2EAS, the Yakima Schools (Foundation's partnership with public schools and
the Yakima valley is a model for other school districts and communities within the State of
Washington;
