ITEM TITLE: City Manager executive search firm selection

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
At its January 12th special meeting, the City Council unanimously approved a motion to
select The Prothman Company and The Mercer Group as finalists to conduct a search for the
next Yakima City Manager. The motion also stated that the Council will choose between the two
finalists at its January 19th Business Meeting.
