ITEM TITLE: Appointment of Christine Goodwin to the Yakima Housing Authority

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Christine Goodwin's appointment expires on January 31, 2016. The Yakima Housing Authority recommends
she be reappointed to their Board before January 31, 2016, in order to continue their Board meetings with a
full Committee. Additionally, Ms. Goodwin has been serving as Vice - Chairperson of the Committee and was
recently nominated to continue in that position. Please see attached recommendation letter.

Honorable Mayor and Council Members:
Our records indicate that Christine Goodwin's appointment to our Board of
Commissioners expires on January 31, 2016.
I would like to request that Christine be reappointed to the Housing Authority of the City
of Yakima's Board of Commissioners. Christine has expressed a desire to continue as
a member of our board for another term.
Additionally, Christine has been serving as an officer (Vice- Chairperson), and was
recently nominated to continue in that position.
