The Powerhouse Road Sidewalk project is funded by a federal Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant that the City received in 2014. Pathways were not eligible for this TAP grant application. The maximum amount available from this grant was $275,000. With the funding available, the best project that we could afford was to widen the westbound lane to a 14 -foot wide shared vehicle /bicycle lane and install curb, gutter and a 5 -foot sidewalk. This project will extend the sidewalk on Powerhouse Road from the Mobil Home Park to Cowiche Canyon Road, thereby filling the sidewalk gap between the Greenway and the future William O. Douglas Trail. City Hall -- Council Chambers 2:00 p.m. Executive Session 1. Roll Call 2. Executive Session regarding pending litigation 3.
