currently in place addresses many of the issues the Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee has historically been
0
tasked by Council to consider.
0
Attached for Council consideration is a resolution altering the operation of the Bicycle /Pedstrian
Committee by removing support staff and resources from the work activities of the Bicycle/Pedestrian
Committee and allowing members of the Committee to serve without compensation at the pleasure of
the City Council or City Manager for indefinite terms.
The members of the Bicycle /Pedestrian Committee desire to continue the important work to enhance
the image of Yakima as a. friendly, healthy and family- oriented city. The Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee
would encourage citizen participation and will work toward improving conditions for pedestrians and
