Issues requiring common intergovernmental policy direction
County Committee members were unable to attend the April 7 meeting. The next meeting
of the Intergovernmental Committee meeting is scheduled for April 24
The Committee and staff discussed the County's Local Tiered Local Street Concept as a
potential remedy to the Crown Pointe issue and also about the possibility of a broader
application of the concept in the urban growth area.
410 Staff will review the Interlocal Agreement and will create a list of items that are critical for
discussion prior to the April 24 Intergovernmental Committee meeting. It is likely that
Yakima County is in the process of preparing a list of points for discussion also.
Dick Zais reported that conversations continue regarding positions and functions that are
being considered for joint City /County operations.
