to park between the electrical poles and the indicated fence. After due discussion,
it was the concensus of the Council that this matter'be referred back to the Traffic •
staff for further study with a report back to the Council. Present and speaking to
this matter was Mr. Don Rice, Office Manager at Pacific Fruit Company.
Acting City Manager Andrews requesting authorization for out -of -state travel for Wayne
Dean, Parks and Recreation Department, to to Harrison Hot Springs, Canada, to attend
a Board Meeting of.the Northwest Turfgrass Association, October -6, 1973, it was MOVED
by Brown, seconded by Cole that said travel be approved and expenses paid: carried Broad,
Brown, Cole, Holbrook and Schussler.voting aye by voice vote. Edmondson and Whitaker
absent.
There being no further business to come'before the Council, it was MOVED by Holbrook,
seconded by Cole that this meeting be adjourned at 4:30'P.M. to Friday, October 5, 1973,
at the hour of 12 :00 Noon, to then meet at the Flight Deck Restaurant: carried, Broad,
Brown,, Cole, Holbrook and Schussler voting aye .by voice vote. Edmondson and Whitaker
Absent.

ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 1973
The City Council met in session at 12:00 Noon. on this date in -the Flight Deck Restaurant
at the Yakima Air Terminal. .
Councilmen present at the meeting were Mayor Bert Broad, Wray Brown, Don Schussler
and Bill Whitaker. Councilmen Cole, Edmondson, and Holbrook absent.
There was discussion concerning various subjects, but no formal action was taken
by the Council at this time.
There being no further business to come before the Council, it was MOVED by Brown,
seconded by Whitaker that. we do now adjourn at the.hour.of 1:15 P.M.: carried,
Broad, Brown, Schussler and Whitaker`voting aye by voice vote. Cole, Edmondson
and Holbrook absent.
