ADJOURNED MEETING
DECEMBER 29, 2008 — 10:00 A.M. — 11:30 A.M.

2. Council Candidate Interviews (continued)

Following the interviews, Council adjourned to Executive Session at 11:34 a.m.
for approximately thirty minutes to discuss the qualifications of the six finalists.
At 12:17 p.m. Mayor Edler reconvened the meeting and Council moved to
continue in Executive Session for up to one more hour. The Council
reconvened in open session at 12:35 p.m.
ACTION: McClure /Coffey nominated Sonia Rodriguez and Ensey /Lover
nominated Maureen Adkison as a replacement for Norm Johnson on the City
Council. Sonia Rodriguez was selected to replace Mr. Johnson. VOTE: 4 -2,
Ensey and Lover voting for Maureen Adkison.
Mayor Edler announced that Ms. Rodriguez will be sworn into office on January
6, 2009 to fill the unexpired term of Norm Johnson.
3. Adjournment at 12:44 p.m.
ACTION: Motion carried to adjourn to the Business Meeting on January 6,
2009. VOTE: Unanimous
