Wednesday, October 28, 2009 Meeting

DYFI Committee Chair Kathy Coffey introduced the attendees to the committee meeting and
requested Dan Kelleher, Executive Director of the Committee for Downtown Yakima (CDY) to
provide a report on the 2009 activities and 2010 budget direction. Dan provided that information
and further discussed CDY's request for full $50,000 funding from the City of Yakima that would
result in restoration of the $10,000 preliminary cut from the 2010 budget. The Committee voted
to recommend restoration of the $10,000 to the historic $50,000 level to the full Council.
The meeting adjourned.
