We seniors of the Yakima Harman Center wish thank you and Yakima's City Council for
your contribution to the Meals -On- Wheels /Senior Nutrition program. Because of you
and the many other wonderful people of Yakima we can count on continued delivery
meals to our fellow homebound seniors and the continuation of meals and fellowship that 1 7
we so much enjoy at the Harman Center.

The seniors of the Southeast Yakima Community Center would like to thank you and the
City Council for your help in keeping the senior nutrition program operating the
remainder of this year. Because of you and the many other wonderfd people of Yakima
we can count ox continued delivery of meals to our fellow homebound seniors and the
continuation. of meals and fellowship here at the southeast center.

These are all people who use the Senior Lunch Program as a nutritious meal site as well
as a social gathering place. The have formed close bonds with each other and spend at
least two hours a tray at the site. They have found a home away from home, not only to
eat but to be o talk. to others. The majority of them live alone and this is their only
social inter ti n time Thank you or ensuring that the activity will continue.
