2. Review outreach efforts
• E-mail lists for city news releases include the Chamber and
communication directors for Yakima School District and Perry Technical,
and Yakima Valley College.
• Schedule additional social media posts, including some with reminders
about youth opportunities. Tagged YSD/Perry/YVC/Davis/Ike in those
youth posts on Facebook and Twitter.
• The first post about the openings reached almost 9,000 people on
Facebook alone. Among those sharing the post were a YHR reporter and
a staffer with Pacific Northwest Health Sciences University.
• Posted a Point of Interest atop the City website to aid visibility and will
schedule some social media posts. Will be running an infographic PSA on
Y-PAC. Updated social media posts and City web page.
• Sent supplemental e-mail to additional communications staff at Yakima
School District.
• Included information in the City's Issues Brief newsletter.
