WHEREAS, on December 6, 2022, Council adopted Resolution R-2022-169 placing
certain fees in a Master Fee Schedule, and
WHEREAS, the fee for impounded shopping carts was not placed in the Master Fee
Schedule; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima finds that it is in the best interest of
the city and its residents to keep certain fees together where they can be found in one location;
now, therefore,
Section 1. The rates, fees and charges set forth in the -• Exhibit "A" which is
Acorporated herein, are hereby adopted by this reference.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 18' day of April, 2023.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
On December 6, 2023, Council adopted Resolution 2022-169 placing certain fees in the master
fee schedule. The Shopping Cart Collection Fee was left out of the master fee schedule. This
Resolution will place the fee in the master schedule.
