ITEM TITLE: Set date for an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the recommendation of
the Hearin Examiner to approve the vacation of a portion of public right -of -way in the vicinity of
12 South 8 Street.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION: Yakima Neighborhood Health has submitted a petition for the
vacation of the following portion of right -of -way, which in the vicinity of 12 South 8th Street:
The south 275- feet •of the 400 -foot alley right of way located in Block 151 of the plat of
Huson's Addition to North Yakima.
On February 11, 2010, the Hearing Examiner held an open record public hearing to consider
this vacation petition. On February 26, 2010, the Hearing Examiner issued his recommendation
4 1 1 for the approval of this petition. You are now being requested to set April 6, 2010 as the
hearing date for City Council consideration of the Hearing Examiner's recommendation.

recommendation for the approval of this right -of -way vacation.
