A RESOLUTION of the City of Yakima, Washington, adopting a Master Fee Schedule.
WHEREAS, many of the City's fees and charges are in the City of Yakima Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, cities and counties commonly use resolutions for fee schedules; and
WHEREAS, there are over fifty different titles or sections of the code with fees; and
WHEREAS, a master fee schedule will eliminate the need to refer to multiple sections
of the Yakima Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, a single comprehensive document for all fees charged by the City will
create efficiencies with staff and the general public requesting this information; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima finds that it is in the best interests of
the City and its residents to create a Master Fee Schedule where many of the City's fees can
be found in one location; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The rates, fees and charges as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A",
which is incorporated herein, are hereby adopted by this reference.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effective January 1, 2023.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 6th day of December, 2022.

ITEM TITLE: Resolution Adopting The Master Fee Schedule for The City of
Yakima

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The City of Yakima fees and charges are found in over 50 different sections of the Municipal
Code. Through a collaborative effort between Finance and many departments, Staff is excited to
compile fees and charges in one document referred to as City of Yakima Master Fee Schedule.
