Approval of Meeting Minutes from 9/28/2022
Staff Announcements
Update on Fruit Row Nomination
Announced that the nomination had been tabled, and would be discussed again at a special meeting in December. While the committee appreciated the nomination, and wanted to move it forward,
they wanted more information on the social and labor history of Fruit Row
Summary of RevitalizeWA Conference
Some time was spent discussing the RevitalizeWA conference. This conference was an overlap of the Main Street Program and Historic Preservation. Topics emphasized included partnership
between the city and downtown associations and the role of Historic Preservation in economic revitalization.
An additional staff announcement included that the contract for Naches Ave. has been signed and we can begin moving forward with the contracting process

No audience was present at this meeting
New Business
Considerations for the next CLG grant cycle
Topics discussed included digitization of materials, refurbishment of the statue on Naches Ave., and historical interpretive signs for historic downtown buildings. Staff was directed
to explore options for interpretive signs and plaques that could be used downtown for buildings on the local and national register.
Other Business
It was decided that the next meeting will occur on November 30, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
