ITEM TITLE: Project completion and contract acceptance for the Miller Park
Playground Project 12210 with Landscape Structures

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City Bid No 12210 provided for work on the Miller Park Playground Project. The work involved
installation of inclusive playground structure and freestanding equipment by certified and factory
trained installation crew. The City contracted with Landscape Structures.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be
accepted. Project completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department
of Revenue and authorizations from state agencies allowing final payment.A final payment of
$$6,805.94 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Landscape Structures.

Contract Award: $147,417.58
Retainage Due: $6,805.94
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve final costs.

Dear Misty,
Please be advised that work on the above referenced project was considered physically
complete on April 23, 2022.
We received certificates of release from Labor and Industries, 9/21/22; Department of Revenue,
9/15/22 and Employment Security Department, 8/10/22. Release of retainage has been made
in the amount of$6,805.94 and payment will be mailed out on Friday, September 30, 2022.
