A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of a surplus police car to the
City of Tieton
WHEREAS, The City of Yakima owns the police car described below
for which the City has no immediate or foreseeable use and which is
surplus to the needs of the city, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best
interest of the City to sell this police car forthwith, rather than
sell it at the public auction of City surplus equipment at a later
date, and
WHEREAS, The City of Tieton has offered eight hundred dollars
($800.00) for said police car which is a reasonable price for said
vehicle, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell the
following surplus police car:
One 1988 Chevrolet, equipment number 1121, to the City of Tieton
for eight hundred dollards ($800.00) plus sales tax.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 5th day of July, 1994.
