A RESOLUTION declaring one used Geni Lift to be surplus and authorizing its
sale.
WHEREAS, the City owns one used Geni Lift, model number AB00069Fa which
is in need of repair, for which the City has no immediate or foreseeable use and
which is surplus to the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, said surplus Geni Lift currently impedes the efficient use of
storage space within the Yakima Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that
the said Geni Lift be disposed of as surplus by bid or negotiated sale, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Council hereby declares the aforementioned Geni Lift to be surplus
to the needs of the City of Yakima and the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to dispose of said Geni Lift by bid or negotiatedlIsale.
