RESOLUTION R-94-46
A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of a Fire and Burglar Alarm Accessory Unit
to the Selah Fire Department.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns the Alarm Accessory Unit described
below, for which the City has no immediate or foreseeable use, which is surplus
to the needs to the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be in the best interest of the
City to sell this alarm unit forthwith, rather than sell it at the public auction of City
surplus equipment at a later date, and
WHEREAS, the Selah Fire Department has offered TWO HUNDRED
SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($275) for said unit which is the fair market price for
said unit, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell the following
surplus Alarm Accessory Unit:
Linear Model 1805 Central Station Fire and Burglar Alarm
Accessory Unit, which consists of the following components
1 1800A COMMUNICATOR
1 302B DUAL PHONE LINE MONITOR
2 317 LIGHTNING PROTECTION MODULES
1 208 AC MONITOR/TIMER
1 114 CONTROL STATION
1 STEEL HOUSING
to the Selah Fire Department for TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS
($275) and without warranty by the City of Yakima.
