RESOLUTION NO. R-94 45
A RESOLUTION authorizing the sole source purchase of an asphalt milling
machine.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima Water & Irrigation Division needs to purchase
an asphalt milling machine attachment in conjunction with the operation and
maintenance of the City's water lines, and
WHEREAS, an extensive search and investigation has revealed that only one
vendor currently offers an asphalt milling machine attachment with its own
engine; and
WHEREAS, it would be futile to call for bids regarding an asphalt milling
machine attachment with its own engine since there is only a single source for
this equipment, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to purchase an asphalt
milling machine attachment from Interstate Asphalt of Springville, Utah as a sole
source purchase without calling for bids. h
