RESOLUTION NO. 11-94 -
A RESOLUTION adjusting bus fares on the City transit system
for March 31, 1994.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima desires to expose the advantages
of ridership on the City transit system to as many people as possible
in order to gain additional ridership, and
WHEREAS, additional ridership on the City transit system will
decrease traffic and parking congestion and improve air quality in
the City of Yakima, and
WHEREAS, offering free bus service will stimulate economic
growth in the City of Yakima;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City of Yakima shall provide a free bus service on the City-
wide transit system on Thursday, March 31, 1994
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 22nd day of March , 1994
