A RESOLUTION rejecting all bids for the construction of the Yakima Police
Station/Legal Center.
WHEREAS, on March 1, 1993 the City of Yakima issued a Request for Proposal
(RFP) for design/build of the Yakima Police Station/Legal Center, and
WHEREAS, two bids were initially submitted on July 29, 1993 by Tri -Ply
Construction, Inc. and Opus Corporation; and
WHEREAS, on September 16, 1993, the City issued another call for bids for
this project; and
WHEREAS, two bids were submitted on October 14, 1993, by Opus Corporation
and by F & M Construction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that all of the bids submitted for the
construction of the Yakima Police Station/Legal Center are unacceptable and
should be rejected, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
All bids submitted in response to the Request for Proposal dated March 1,
1993 for construction of the Yakima Police Station/Legal Center are hereby
rejected.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 16thday of November , 1993.
