A RESOLUTION authorizing the declaration of surplus and acceptance of
offer to purchase by Northwest Enviroservice Inc., represented by Jack
McClary, General Manager, of (One) complete and (One) partial Dorr
Oliver Gorator Pump, model #6410 GN; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima's wastewater facility has no use for the
above specified pumps as their function has been replaced by more effective
devices; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to declare surplus inventories not in
use prior to sale; and
WHEREAS, the City nor any of its officers or employees has a conflict
of interest in this matter; and
WHEREAS, Northwest Enviroservices, Inc has made a good faith offer
of $4,000 for the above specified equipment; and
WHEREAS, a declaration of surplus and acceptance of purchase offer is
in the best interest of the City of Yakima; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The above specified equipment is declared surplus and the City
Manager is authorized to accept the attached and incorporated offer of
purchase from Northwest Enviroservices, Inc.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 19th DAY OF octo4er
1993.
