A RESOLUTION authorizing closure of portions of 16th Avenue and Spring
Creek Road for the Yakima Air Fair.
WHEREAS, the Yakima Air Fair Board has requested the City of Yakima to
close 16th Avenue from Washington Avenue to the southern City limits and that
portion of Spring Creek Road within the City of Yakima; and
WHEREAS, the Yakima Air Fair Board has made the aforementioned request
for closure at the hours and dates listed below in order to facilitate air show
events and practice flights at or preceding the 1993 Yakima Air Fair to be held at
the Yakima Airport; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 9.45.170B of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code the Cite Council deems the Yakima Air Fair to be a special event for which
street closure is desirable, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The following streets are hereby closed at the stated times and
dates:
16th Avenue south of Washington
Avenue to the City Limits
April 28, 1993
12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m.
April 29 & April 30, 1993
2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
May 1 & May 2, 1993
11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
That portion of Spring Creek April 28, 1993
Road within the City of Yakima 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m.
April 29 & April 30, 1993
2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
May 1 & May 2, 1993
