A RESOLUTION authorizing the City Manager and City Clerk of the City of
Yakima to execute a Quit Claim Deed to release an easement
across property owned by W. D. Bohlke and Joyce Bohlke,
husband and wife, and S. A. Ruark and Beverly Ruark,
husband and wife.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima acquired an easement on February 20, 1957
across certain property located at 3901 Tieton Drive (Yakima County Assessor's
Parcel No. 181322-43022), for the purpose of laying, operating, and maintaining a
water pipe; and
WHEREAS, the irrigation pipe that formerly occupied said easement has
been relocated to another area such that the City of Yakima no longer has any use
for this easement; and
WHEREAS, the property owners have requested that the City release this
easement because it is no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that
the easement be released, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The Cit) Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
e\ecute a "Quit Claim Deed" to W. D. Bohlke and Joyce Bohlke, husband and wife,
and S. A. Ruark and Beverly Ruark, husband and wife, to release an easement
across their property, a copy of which Quit Claim Deed is attached hereto and by
reference incorporated herein.

THE GRANTOR, CITY OF YAKIMA, a Washington municipal corporation; for and in „
consideration of Ten Dollars ($10.00), conveys and quit claims to W. D. BOHLKE and JOYCE
BOHLKE, husband and wife, (as to an undivided one-half interest), and S. A. RUARK and
BEVERLY RUARK, husband and wife, (as to an undivided one-half interest), all right, title, and
interest in the following -described real estate, situated in the County of Yakima, State of
Washington, to wit:
The East 10 feet of the W. 25 feet of the West 1 acre of the E. 1/2
of the SW 1/4, of the SW 1/4, of the SE 1/4, Except the N. 25 feet
to County for R/W, of Section 22, Township 13 North, Range 18,
E.W.M.
By this instrument, GRANTOR intends to extinguish and release that easement granted to the
City of Yakima for water pipe purposes by Easement Deed dated February 20, 1957, recorded
April 9, 1957, in Volume 569 of Deeds, under Yakima County Auditor's File No. 1664925.
