A RESOLUTION closing the public meeting for the proposed Wide Hollow
annexation and reserving the City Council's decision on such
meeting to a later date pending negotiations with proponents
of the proposed City of West Valley
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore set the date of October 20, 1992
for a public meeting to consider the proposed Wide Hollow annexation, and
WHEREAS, a public meeting was held at the Capitol Theatre on October 20,
1992 at 2 00 p m. at which time extensive public testimony was taken regarding
the Wide Hollow annexation pursuant to the criteria set in RCW 35 13 125, and
WHEREAS, such public meeting was continued by Council motion on October
20, 1992 to November 10, 1992 at the hour of 2.00 p.m , and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to close the public meeting for the
proposed Wide Hollow annexation, now , therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA.
The Wide Hollow annexation public meeting required by the provisions of
RCW 35 13 125 is hereby closed
The City Council hereby reserves to a later time its determination on
hether it will accept such annexation and on what terms described in RCW
35 13 125 In the interim the Council desires to continue its meetings with the
proponents of the incorporation of the City of West Valle) which proposed city
partially includes the proposed annexation area.
