RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION. initiating an amendment to the City zoning map for certain
property in the vicinity of North 21st Avenue and Fruitvale
Boulevard within the City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima recently completed acquisition of several
parcels of real property in the vicinity of North 21st Avenue and Fruitvale
Boulevard to allow expansion of the Public Works Department Shops Complex; and
WHEREAS, the parcels of real property described below are presently zoned
R-1 (Single Family Residential District), R-3 (Multi -Family Residential District)
and CBDS (Central Business District Support); and
WHEREAS, the Yakima City Council desires to initiate an amendment to the
zoning map of the City of Yakima so as to rezone said property M-1 (Light
Industrial), now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Pursuant to Section 15.23.030 A (1.) of the City of Yakima Municipal Code,
the City Council does hereby initiate an amendment to the zoning map of the City
of Yakima so as to rezone the real property legally described in Exhibit "A," which
is attached hereto, from R-1 (Single Family Residential District), R-3 (Multi -
Family Residential District), and CBDS (Central Business District Support) to M-1
(Light Industrial)

thence South to the North right of way line of State Highway; thence
Southeasterly along the State Highway right of way line to the West line of
