A RESOLUTION: repealing the Midvale Road/South 72nd Avenue annexation
initiation, the Lincoln Avenue/North 74th Avenue annexation
initiation, and the West Chestnut/South 72nd Avenue
annexation initiation.
WHEREAS, the City Council at its meetings of May 7, 1991 and May 14, 1991,
pursuant to RCW 35.13.125, passed Standard Motions A and B initiating a petition
form of annexation for three annexation areas contiguous to the City of Yakima,
which were named the Midvale Road/South 72nd annexation, the Lincoln
Avenue/North 74th Avenue annexation, and the West Chestnut/South 72nd
Avenue annexation; and
WHEREAS, the property encompassed in the above-described three
annexations is described on the attached and incorporated Notices of Intention to
Commence Annexation Proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to repeal the initiation of the three
aforementioned annexations and commence a single smaller annexation in
approximately the same area, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAIUMA:
The initiation of the Midvale Road/South 72nd Avenue annexation, the
Lincoln Avenue/North 74th Avenue annexation, and the West Chestnut/South
72nd Avenue annexation commenced by the City Council on May 7, 1991 and May
14, 1991 is hereby repealed effective immediately.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 13t hday of October , 1992.
