YAKIMA CITY COUNCIL .
OCTOBER 27, 1972
The City. Council met'in special session at 12 :00 noon, October 27., 1972, at the Chinook
Hotel, Yakima,,Washington, having waived notice of said meeting by signature, which ..,
signatures are on. file in the office of the'Yakima City Clerk.
Councilmen present at the meeting were Mayor Bert Broad, Wray Brown, Jim Lust, Don
Schussler and 'Bill Whitaker.

The Councilmen discussed the following:"
Police and' Fire Union negotiations; , .
Revenue Sharing and its implications to this year's and subsequent budgets;
The need for about possible income increase from property taxes for•
next year:
' The question of PEP employees and the obligation - to retain these' employees.
It was agreed that the briefing sessions with Tom Pearson on his Yakima profile -data
would be held on the afternoon and evening.of December 1, 1972, beginning at 3 :00 P.M.
The special meeting adjourned'at'1 :15
