A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of a Fire and Burglar Alarm
Accessory Unit to Rainbow Electric.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns the Alarm Accessory Unit
described below, for which the City has no immediate or
foreseeable use, which is surplus to the needs to City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best
interest of the City to sell this alarm unit forthwith, rather
than sell it at the public auction of City surplus equipment at a
later date, and
WHEREAS, Rainbow Electric of Spokane, WA. has offered TWO
HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($275.00) for said unit which is the
fair market price for said unit, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell
the following surplus Alarm Accessory Unit:
Linear Model 1805 Central Station Fire and Burglar
Alarm Accessory Unit which consists of the following
components:
1 1800A COMMUNICATOR
1 302B DUAL PHONE LINE MONITOR
2 317 LIGHTNING PROTECTION MODULES
1 208 AC MONITOR/TIMER
1 114 CONTROL STATION
1 STEEL HOUSING
to Rainbow Electric of Spokane, WA. for TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE
DOLLARS ($275.00) and without any warranty by the City of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this Vo day o 1', 1992.
