A RESOLUTION authorizing the City Manager to execute a Certif-
icate of Satisfaction of Lien relating to proper-
ty located at 2602 Willow Street, Yakima,
Washington.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima previously has permitted the
connection of property located at 2602 Willow Street, Yakima,
Washington, to sanitary sewer services provided by the City of
Yakima, and by statute, ordinance, and agreement received the
right to claim a lien against the property for delinquency in
payment of connection charges; and
WHEREAS, delinquency in connection charge payments has
resulted, and the County of Yakima, Washington also has owing.
to it a significant amount of back taxes relating to the same
property, the lien for which is superior to that of the City;
and
WHEREAS, the County of Yakima, Washington, will be pro-
ceeding to foreclose on the property based on the back taxes
owed to it, in which event the City of Yakima will not realize
any amount of recovery on its sewer connection lien; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima has received an offer of
$50U.00 in satisfaction of its lien, the acceptance of which
the City Council has deemed to be in the City's best interest,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager of the City of Yakima is hereby autho-
rized and directed to execute a Certificate of Satisfaction of
Lien relating to the receipt of $500.00 in full and final
payment of the sewer connection charge lien against property
located at 2602 Willow Street, Yakima, Washington, parcel
number 181314-34051, a copy of which Certificate is attached
hereto and by reference made a part hereof.

CERTIFICATE OF SATISFACTION OF LIEN
The City of Yakima, Washington, having filed for record in the
office of the County Auditor of Yakima County, utility connection
agreement installment contracts dated April 13, 1982 and numbered
2645069 and 2645070, in Volume 1098, pages 573 through 576, re-
lating to property for which the legal description is as follows:
Beginning 638 feet W and 20 feet S of the NE
corner of the SE 1/4 SW 1/4 then W 65 feet then
S 182 feet and s 49'30' E 85.5 feet then 239
feet to beginning except Str.
The City of Yakima now acknowledges that the owner of the above-
described property has fully satisfied the indebtedness related to
the lien described in the above-mentioned documentation on file
with the County Auditor. Therefore, in consideration of such
satisfaction, the City of Yakima releases any claim of lien against
the above-described property and consents that the lien be dis-
charged of record.
The City of Yakima authorizes and directs the Yakima County Auditor
to discharge of record the described lien.
