RESOLUTION NO. D 6 0 5.2
A RESOLUTION authorizing the City Manager and City Clerk of
the City of Yakima to execute Purchase and Sale
Agreements with nine landowners to acquire prop-
erty for the Public Works Fruitvale Shop Complex
Expansion Project.
WHEREAS, on June 27, 1989, the City Council by Resolution
No. D-5599 authorized the execution of an agreement with
TRAHO, Inc. for professional services for the Public Works
Shop Complex Expansion Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Public
Works Shop Complex at Fruitvale Boulevard should be expanded;
and
WHEREAS, TRAHO, Inc. has been conducting negotiations
with the landowners of the property selected for the expansion
project; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to acquire nine parcels of land
in this area from nine landowners in order to construct the
Public Works Expansion Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best
interest of the City of Yakima to purchase these properties
for the Public Works Shop Complex Expansion, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute real estate Purchase and Sale Agree-
ments with the following persons owning land within Section
14, Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., Yakima County, Wash-
ington, for the following

Burke
Halverson

; provided, however)thatthe total aggregate purchase price
for all of the above-specified parcels of land shall not
exceed Five Hundred Twenty -Five Thousand, Seven Hundred Dol-
lars ($525,700.00). The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed with the purchase of said properties using
Purchase and Sale Agreements that have been approved as to
form by the City Attorney.
