A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of surplus personal property
owned by the City.
WHEREAS, the City owns excessive 1 1/2" fire hose and accessory
nozzle equipment for which the City has no foreseeable use and all of
which are surplus to the City's needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima deems a minimum
price of $.80 per foot for the hose and $10 each nozzle adequate and
reasonable for such used equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be in the best interest of the
City that this property be sold, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Fire Chief is hereby authorized and directed to sell the
above -listed equipment at the above -listed price, plus Washington State
sales tax, with full shipping costs to be paid by the purchaser if applicable.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this day of
August, 1991.
