RESOLUTION NO. D-5908
A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of surplus personal property
owned by the City.
WHEREAS, the City owns a 1978 Ford fire pumper and acces-
sory small equipment for which the City has no foreseeable use
and all of which are surplus to the City's needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima deems a
minimum bid of $20,000.00 adequate and reasonable for such
used vehicle and equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be in the best
interest of the City that this property be sold, now, there-
fore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Fire Chief is hereby authorized and directed to
sell by sealed bid the above -listed vehicle and equipment at
the above -listed price, plus Washington State sales tax, with
full shipping costs to be paid by purchaser if applicable.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this day of May, 1991.
