RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION authorizing the execution of a Purchase and Sale
Agreement for property located at 202 North 2nd
Street, Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima Police Department along with
other City departments require vehicle parking facilities in
close proximity to City Hall; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a significant shortage of
such parking facilities; and
WHEREAS, the property located at 202 North 2nd Street has
been offered for sale to the City of Yakima for the purchase
price of S120,000.00, and the City desires to acquire this
property and use it as a parking lot; and
WI -II -PEAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best
interest of the City of Yakima to purchase said property and
enter into the attached Purchase and Sale Agreement, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The CitN, Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the attached and incorporated Purchase and
Sale Agreement, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed with the purchase of said property.
