RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION adjusting bus fares on the City transit system
for the period from November 23, 1990 through
January 1, 1991.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima desires to expose the advan-
tages of ridership on the City transit system to as many
people as possible in order to gain additional ridership; and
WHEREAS, additional ridership on the City transit system
will decrease traffic and parking congestion and improve air
quality in the City of Yakima; and
WHEREAS, offering free bus service will stimulate econom-
ic growth in the City of Yakima during this holiday season;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City of Yakima shall provide free bus service on the
City -wide transit system from November 23, 1990 through end of
service on January 1, 1991.
it is further resolved that there will be no adjustment
made in bus passes purchased for the month of November 1990 or
January 1991. However, anyone having purchased a bus pass for
the month of December 1990 may exchange that bus pass for a
pass good for one month service in 1991. The bus pass must be
exchanged no later than February 1, 1991 and if not the person
holding the December 1990 pass shall forfeit all right to
exchange that bus pass. No money reimbursements or other
reimbursements other than the exchange for the December 1990
passes as explained above shall be permitted.
