A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of surplus vehicular property
owned by the City
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns vehicular property listed on the
schedule attached hereto, which property is surplus property for which the
City has no foreseeable use, which property should be sold in the manner
most advantageous to the City, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HIE CITY OF
YAKIMA:
The City Manager of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and
directed to dispose of surplus vehicular property owned by the City listed on
the attached and incorporated schedule by selling said property using any
9And all of the following means public auction sale, sealed bids, or
consignment sales through dealer lots. All such sales shall be at a time
and place and in the mariner determined by the City Manager to be most
advantageous to the City The City Manager is further hereby authorized to
hire services of an auctioneer and incur other necessary and reasonable
expenses incidental to such sale, with the cost of such sale to be paid from
the proceeds thereof
