A JOINT RESOLUTION by the Yakima City Council and the Yakima
County Commissioners appointing Macile Zais Interim Treasurer to
the Yakima Air Terminal.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima and Yakima County have amended their
Joint Air Terminal Operations Agreement in order to provide a
means to appoint a separate Treasurer for the Yakima Air
Terminal under the authority of RCW 14.08.200 (11); and,
WHEREAS, such amendment allows the City and County to appoint an
Air Terminal Treasurer who has had prior experience in financial
and fiscal matters to a level acceptable to the City Council and
County Commissioners; and,
WHEREAS, Macile Zais, the Interim Air Terminal Business Agent
meets the aforesaid requirements; now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA
AND THE BOARD OF YAKIMA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS:
Macile Zais is hereby appointed Interim Treasurer of the Yakima
Air Terminal to be effective upon passage by both bodies.
This Resolution replaces and repeals City Resolution D-5671,
January 9, 1990, and County Resolution 24-1990, January 9, 1990.

Dear City Council:
In accordance with the Joint Air Terminal Operations
agreement, as amended, the City of Yakima and Yakima
County must, by resolution, jointly appoint a person to
act as treasurer for the Yakima Air Terminal.
The Yakima
meeting,
Treasurer,
Yakima and
Air Terminal Board, at their June 28, 1990
appointed Macile Zais as Interim Airport
subject to the concurrence of the City of
Yakima County.
Therefore, the Airport Board requests the consideration
and adoption of the attached resolution to appoint Macile
Zais to the position of Interim Treasurer for the Yakima
Air Terminal, and to rescind resolutions No. D-5671,
adopted by the City of Yakima on January 9, 1990 and
resolution No. 24-1990 adopted by Yakima County on
January 9,1990 appointing Sheila Treat to the Treasurer
position.
