RESOLUTION NO.
D-5762
A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of a surplus police car to the City
of Moxee.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns the police car described below
for which the City has no immediate or foreseeable use and which is
surplus to the needs of the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be in the best interest
of the City to sell this police car forthwith, rather than sell it at
the public auction of surplus equipment at a later date, and
WHEREAS, the City of Moxee has offered eight hundred dollars
($800.00) for said police car which is a reasonable price for said
vehicle, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell the
following surplus police car.
One 1986 Ford, Serial No. 2FABP43F4GX202424
Equipment No. 1094, City Asset No.. 1513
to the City of Moxee for eight hundred dollars ($800.00).
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this day of June, 1990.
