A RESOLUTION
authorizing and directing the City Manager
and City Clerk of the City of Yakima to execute
agreements with the State of Washington,
Department of Transportation for partial reim-
bursement of costs for improvements to the North
First Street & I Street.
WHEREAS, the City contemplates improvements to the North
First Street & "I" Street Intersection and partial reimbursement
for the cost of such improvement by the State of Washington,
Department. of Transportation, on the execution by the City of the
attached supplemental agreement documents, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best inter-
ests of the City that the attached agreement documents be
executed by the City, accordingly, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager and City Clerk of the City of Yakima are
hereby authorized and directed to execute agreements with the
State of Washington, Department of Transportation, for the pur-
pose mentioned above, a copy of which agreements entitled are
W.S.D.O.T. City/County Agreement Supplement No. 1 - Federal Aid
Project M-4579 (006) and W.S.D.O.T. City/County Agreement
Supplement No. 1 - Federal Aid Project No. HES-4579(005) attached
hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this day of 3-ck 1990.
