Minutes for Meeting on June 22, 2022

I.Call to Order
Chair Hallcalled the meeting to order at approximately5:30P.M.
II.Roll Call
HPC Members Present: Cynthia Hall, Paul Edmondson, Joe Mann
HPC Members Absent: Clayton Bussey, Dawn King
Quorum: Quorumpresent
Staff: Albert Miller, Assistant Planner
III.Staff Announcements
Albert Miller introduced as new staff liaison for the Historical Preservation Commission, with
Trevor Martin having recently moved onto a Community Development Director position.
IV.Audience Participation
None noted.
V.New Business
A.Current Projects Fruit Row Update
Spencer Howard from Northwest Vernacular gave a presentation on the progress of the
Fruit Row nomination for the National Historic Register. Topics included the nomination
criteria, historical context, an overview of contributing structures, an overview of the
significance of the district, and a comparison between the National Historic Register and
the local register.
VI.Other Business
Discussed the content of the next meeting, to be held on July 27, 2022.
VII.Adjournment
A motion to adjourn to June 22,2022was passed with unanimous vote. This meeting
adjourned at approximately 6:30p.m.
