Serco BusinessRunway 09/27 Extension
Project will consist of the following project elements:
•Design and Engineering services and Construction.
•This project will need to move up in priority as Alaska
Airlines recently announced that the current Bombardier
Q400 will be phased out for the Embraer ERJ 170/175 fleet.
•Current MPU has identified this aircraft will require
approximately 7,800 feet of runway (current length 7,604’).
•There is room for an extension to the west, but early
coordination will be key in order to make this happen.
•This project may bump other projects currently identified in
the airport SCIP.
