FEBRUARY 9, 1970
The regular meeting the City Council of this date, was called to order by Councilman
McNeice in the absence of Mayor Larson. .Councilmen Brown,. Lust and McNeice, City Manager
McMicken and City Attorney were present on roll call. Councilmen Keith, Lambert
and Robinson were absent on roll call, having been excused at the previous meeting.
Mayor Larson was absent on roll call. City Manager McMicken explained that Mayor.Larson
had called in at the' hour of 1:30 P.M. and explained that he was ill`with the flu and
unable to attend the meeting at 3:00 P.M

City Attorney Andrews explained that inasmuch as there is not a quorum, this body has no
authority to hold a meeting. He further explained that the public hearings which were
scheduled to be held on this date, will have to be re- scheduled and he instructed the City
Clerk to again publish 'notices on the two Hearings as follows: fix the time of Hearing on
the'Appeal filed by Marquis Enterprises, for February 23, and the Hearing on the
matter of adding the Parks and Recreation Plan to the General Plan, for Fe±•ruary 16, 1970.
