ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21,
The City Council met in session at 1:15 P.M. on this -date at the Flight Deck Restaurant
in the Yakima Air Terminal.

Councilmen present at Mayor Bill Whitaker, Howard C. Cole, Betty
L. Edmondson 'and Don Schussler. Also'present City Manager:McMicken and City Attorney
Fred, Andrews. Councilmen Mayor Bert Broad,;' Wray Brown and Ralph Holbrook were absent
and excused. .
An Ordinance transferring the amount of'$12,000 from..the Cumulative Reserve for Capital
Improvement Fund to the' Central Bu'sine'ss District having been read by
title only at the previous meeting of December 17, 1973, and being again read by title
at this meeting, it was MOVED by Edmondson, seconded by Schussler that"Ordinance No. 1600,
providing for said appropriation, be passed: carried, Cole, Edmondson, Whitaker and •
Schussler voting aye on roll call. Broad, ,Brown and Holbrook absent.
ORDINANCE NO. 1600, AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $12,000 from the Cumulative
Reserve for Capital Improvement Fund to 321- Central Business District Capital Improvement
Fund; and appropriating the amount of $12,000'from unappropriated money in 321- Central
Business District Capital Improvement Fund to Account 321.538.30.65 therein as a 1973
appropriation for 321- Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund.
An-Ordinance appropriating $24,651 to the Police Department for a communications console,
having been read by title.only at the previous meeting of December 17, 1973, and being
again read by title at this meeting, it MOVED by.Cole, seconded by Edmondson that
Ordinance No. 1601, providing for said appropriation, be passed: carried,.Cole, Edmondson,
Whitaker and Schussler voting'aye on roll Broad, Brown and Holbrook absent.
ORDINANCE NO. 1601, AN ORDINANCE appropriating amount of $24,651 from unappropriated
money in 000- General Fund to Account 031.521.20.64'of the 1973 appropriation for 031-
Police Department.
An.Ordinance appropriating $50 within the Mausoleum Fund to pay current obligations,
having been read by titleonly at the' meeting of December 17, 1973, and being
again read by title at this meeting, it was"MOVED by Cole, seconded by'Edmondson that
Ordinance No. 1602, providing for said appropriation, be.passed:.* carried, Edmondson,
Whitaker and Schussler voting aye on roll call. 'Broad, Brown and Holbrook absent.

ORDINANCE NO. 1602, AN appropriating the amount of $50 from unappropriated
money in 145- Mausoleum'Fund to 'Account 145.536.50.38 of the 1973 appropriation for 145 -
Mausoleum Fund. •
An Ordinance appropriating $16,000 from unappropriated reserves for the Police Department,
having been, read by title - only at the previous meeting' of •December 17, 1973, and being
again read by title at this meeting, it was MOVED by Cole, seconded by Edmondson that
Ordinance No. 1603, providing for said appropriation, be passed: carried, Cole, Edmondson,
Whitaker and Schussler voting'aye on roll call. 'Broad, Brown and Holbrook absent.

ORDINANCE NO. 1603,' AN ORDINANCE appropriating the amount of $16,000 from unappropriated
money in 000 - General Fund to various accounts 'a's•1973 appropriations for 031- Police Department.
.There being no-further come before the Council it was MOVED by Cole, seconded
by Edmondson that we do now adjourn at hour of 1:30_P.M.: Cole, Edmondson, Whitaker
and Schussler voting aye vote. Broad,'Brown, and absent.
