ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING - FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 1973
The City Council met in session at 12:00.Noon on „this date at. the Flight Deck Restaurant in
the Yakima Air Terminal.
Councilmen present at the meeting were Wray Brown, Howard C. Cole, Betty L. Edmondson, Don
Schussler and .Bill Whitaker. Also present was Chuck Rich. Councilmen Mayor Broad and
Holbrook absent.
There was discussion by the Council regarding a Comprehensive Sidewalk Plan, .usIng FRS
money.
Also discussed was the possibility of having Transit Manager, Bob Knight, attend the
Monday night Study Session to answer questions concerning the status of various downtown
areas.
Council members referred to the status of the Gilbert Park lighting as a possible topic
for discussion at the Monday night Study Session.
There being no further business to come before the Council, it was MOVED by Whitaker, •
seconded by Cole. that we do now adjourn at the hour of 1,:30 P.M.: carried, Brown, Cole,
Edmond son,. Schussler and Whitaker voting aye by voice vote. Broad and Holbrook absent.
