SPECIAL MEETING - TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 23, 1986
1. LUNCHEON MEETING WITH THE TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY COMMISSION
The City Council met in a special luncheon meeting with the
Traffic Safety Advisory Commission on this date at 12:00 noon at
the Jade Tree Restaurant, 204 E. Yakima Avenue, Yakima, Washington.
Council members Pat Berndt, Lynn Buchanan, Lynn Carmichael, Jerry
Foy and Jack Sparling were present. Mayor Henry Beauchamp and
Council member. Clarence Barnett absent. City Manager Zais,
Public Works Director Jerry Copeland, Hank Hein, Supervising
Traffic Engineer, Shelley Harlington, Traffic Technician, and
Sgt. Roy Willson also present. Members of the Traffic Safety
Advisory Commission present were John Klingele, Chairman, Paul
Horne, Vice Chairman, Julia Blesio, Sandy Shaver and Cindy Warren.
Commission member Kerry Bowles absent.
The Council members and Commission members held general discussion
on the role of the Commission and current issues under discussion
by the Commission.
The meeting adjourned at the hour of_1:35.p.m.
