SPECIAL MEETING WITH UTILITY RATE ADVISORY BOARD
The City Council met in session on this date at 11:30 a.m. in the
Veranda Roan of the Towne Plaza, North 7th Street and East Yakima
Avenue, Yakima, Washington.
Council members present were Mayor Clarence Barnett, Lynn Buchanan, Lynn
Carmichael, Jerry Foy, and Jack Sparling. Council members absent were
Henry Beauchamp and Pat Berndt. Staff members present were City Manager
Zais, Assistant City Manager ,Stouder, Dennis Covell, Director of
Engineering & Utilities, John Hanson, Director of Finance'& Budget, Dave
Rhodes, Director of Public Works, Ty Wick, Water & Irrigation
Superintendent, and Chris Waarvick, Wastewater Manager.
The Council held a special meeting called by the Mayor for the purpose
of general discussion with members of the Utility Rate Advisory Board
(DRAB). URAB members present were John Ward, Cecil Warriner, Brad Card,
and Barbara Henson.
By general consensus of the Council, the meting was adjourned at the
hour of 1:10 p.m.
