equal protection and equal benefit of tfie law witfiout discrimination based on race, national
oretfinic origin, color, religion, sex age, or mental.orpfzysicaldisability; and
WME A&, tfie long and ongoing struggle of transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and
otter sexual minorities for basic civil and fiuman rigfits continues to provide inspiration to all;

&smear transgender, two-spirit and non-binary community and promotes a society in wfiicfi
all residents can live flee from discrimination; and

organization sucfi as Yakima Pride and Tae Space, Yakima Neigfiborfiood 9fealtfi and otters
wfio work to promote tfie well-being of L cBTQ+ individuals, as well as all tfiose affected by
discrimination on tfie basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression; and
