Minutes
David Lynx convened the meeting.
In attendance: Randy Bonds Jr., Teresa Pritchard, David Rogers, Valerie Woerner, Jack
McEntire, Jim Ward Morris, David Lynx.
Guests: Charlie Robin
The Minutes from the September 15, 2021 meeting were accepted.
Budget: David Lynx and Randy Bonds presented a report, so far in 2021 $9166.50 has
been spent. There is an additional $25 printing from Windows Alive that was not on the
report. David will contact Jane Cooper with Windows Alive and see she has any needs.
Windows Alive: 15 folks applied for the fall show, with so many artists, it allowed to plan
for both Fall and Spring shows.
Utility Box Wrap Project: New box being wrapped by ADI at 8th and Yakima (near the
Convention Center). Another box being wrapped at 48th and Spring near the Sozo Sports
Complex. We are in need of more art. Jim Ward Morris and David Lynx will work on putting
together a call for art.
Washington State Creative District: No update with Heath Lambe not in attendance.
David notified the group he thought the application was at the final stage before submittal
and only needed to be presented to Council.
Group Updates:
Larson Gallery
December 18 — Santa will be visiting the gallery. Jacob Lawrence show starting January
27th
Yakima Symphony
Holiday Pops concert series went well. John Williams 90th Birthday show coming up. In
February the music of Queen. They hope to release the next season's lineup in March.
Capitol Theatre
Hairspray and Alton Brown shows were well received and attended, COVID protocols
worked out well. The fire escape project is going well and will be done soon.
